hi there! i’m mercedes, although pretty much everyone calls me sadie- photography has mostly started as a hobby and creative outlet for me, i’ve always loved taking pictures of people to help them remember that moment in their life and to make sure the photos feel like them, and not super posey or uncomfortable. i’d describe my style as romantic, candid, and documentary inspired, with a big focus on helping people feel relaxed in front of the camera because i know how awkward it can feel sometimes.
before this, i spent most of my working years as a kindergarten teacher or in other fields of childcare. after having my son, i decided i wanted to stay home with him as much as possible, so for now i’m very content being a stay at home mom while growing Olea & Film.
